Fresno City College

Hello Colleagues,

A friendly reminder, if you are planning on sending staff/faculty/administrators the registration period will end on 5/22/2019.

Dear Central Valley Community College Colleagues,

It is with great pleasure that we invite your college to participate in the 4th annual Institutional Development for Equity, Access, and Success (IDEAS) Summit to be held at Fresno City College on May 29-30, 2019. With financial support from the Central Valley Higher Education Consortium, we can extend up to four invitations to each community college in the Central Valley.

The goal of the IDEAS Summit is to provide faculty, classified professionals, and administrators with opportunities to learn about the adverse effects of educational inequities and strategies to reduce them, such as effective practices and methods for addressing and improving the educational experience and outcomes for underrepresented students. The IDEAS Summit will feature nationally renowned opening and closing keynote presenters and breakout sessions facilitated by community college practitioners and scholar-practitioners on each day. In addition to the opening and closing keynote presentations and breakout sessions, Dr. Brad C. Phillips will facilitate an interactive and hands-on presentation during lunch May 29, on topics related to his most recent book, Creating a Data-Informed Culture in Community Colleges.

We hope you will join us at the Fresno City College IDEAS Summit on May 29 and 30. When registering, click on “tickets” and your code will be IDEAS2019.
